About Us:
A Little Info and a lot of pictures
We are Kristen and Alissa, aka K&A, aka the Girls and we live to travel. We have been together since 2007, took our first international trip in 2012 and married in 2017 on our 10th dating anniversary. While we don’t get to hit the road as often as we would like, we do believe that traveling is a state of mind and you can be travelers anywhere, even in your hometown. Traveling is our chosen craft and we constantly seek out opportunities to strengthen our traveling skills in our everyday life. While traveling full time sounds like a great adventure, it isn’t our goal at this time. We absolutely love Philly and think it is the perfect home base for us. In that same vein we don’t accept free products or trips for review. We want to accurately portray everyday travel by everyday people.
I love researching and K loves reaping the benefits of all my research. Our goal is to allow people to reap the benefits of all my research without spending all their time researching. We also hope to inspire people to incorporate travel into every part of their life.
***Update: As of April 2022, Kristen became an employee at a major international hotel chain. This opens up not only the opportunity of hotel discounts but also gives us an inside look at the hotel/restaurant industry. We will be completely upfront when we are using our employee discounts and we hope to pass on any new industry knowledge that we learn along the way.
